Digital Wrench is designed to run on any computer that runs the full version of Windows 8, Windows 10,and Windows 11. People have run it on a MAC using a Windows Emulator. It will not run on an I-phone or Android device.

If you need a portable device, several tablets that run Windows are now available. Put the demo on a Flash drive and have them run it for you.

Digital Wrench is designed to run on your computer. If the Internet connection does not work Digital Wrench will still run. If you subscribe you will need an internet connection to get your monthly code, or you will need to call us. It is also helpful for us to support you with a remote connection. But Internet is not required, just helpful.
 
We do have a partner that can set up a cloud based server so Digital Wrench can be run from anywhere with an internet connection. We use Digital Wrench for our invoicing, and we run it in the cloud. See: Data Health Cloud
Digital Wrench was designed for the repair business, of which there are hundreds. Many options can be customized to work for your business in the setup areas of Digital Wrench. The only way to know for sure is to download the trial version and set up a time for us to walk through the setup. We now have over 70 types of repair businesses using our repair order software.
If you need an invoice you did not see on the website, our report writer has another 50 plus customizable invoices. We also have custom invoices for the Point of Sale and the to-do list. If none of those work, we can create a custom invoice for you. If you’re savvy, you can use the built-in Report Writer to modify one of ours to create your own custom invoice printout.
If you have a jpg, png, or bmp graphic file, you can copy it into the wrench folder, then go into Company setup on the printer tab and choose your logo. The logo prints on most invoices.
You can purchase the multi-computer version of Digital Wrench and run two or more computers, which share all of the data. All you need is a standard Windows-based local area network using your router and either ethernet (preferred) or Wi-Fi.

Digital Wrench manages all of your inventory. You can establish levels that will add parts to a suggested re-order list for you. If you don’t have inventory, you can input parts into a repair order without any issues. Digital Wrench also features a Purchase Order that helps you monitor what has been ordered. When it is received, it updates your inventory. You can add items to the PO directly from the RO screen. This way, when you receive it, it will display the vehicle or unit and the customer to whom the order belongs.

Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 11 are all available choices. We recommend Windows 11 Pro because it is the best operating system. However, our software will also run on earlier versions.

4 GB of RAM memory; 8 GB to 16 GB will perform better with Windows.

Color VGA monitor, HDMI monitor or any standard Windows compatible monitor.

A 256 GB hard drive or SSD is recommended for faster operation.

Optional: Barcode scanner for individuals with a large inventory.
