6.3.05 - 3/11/24

Warning: This version has file structure changes. Be sure you update each computer accordingly if you have multiple computers using Digital Wrench on the network. Each computer must have the same version. Click Here to see how to upgrade!

1)Added: In the Point of Sale you can bring up history then drag and drop a history part onto the Find Part button, and that will add that part to the POS screen. However, when operating remotely and latency is high, there may be a delay, so the Drag and Drop doesn't work so well. To fix this, there is now a Pick Icon IconPick on the history screen. Highlight the part, click on the icon, and the history screen will close. Then right click on the Find Part button and that part will be added to the POS screen.

2)Fixed: On the $ screen where you can see invoices for just one customer, when you completed a transaction, the Red X Button would disappear. While we didn't figure out why, there is a workaround so it won't disappear anymore... hopefully. If it does after this upgrade, please let us know.

3)Fixed: On the main RO browse screen many of the buttons on the bottom would be small and you could pass your mouse cursor over them and they would expand.

4)Fixed: On the main RO browse screen there was some ghosting on the top left where the status lights are.

5)Added: On the main RO browse screen there is now a display of the invisible locator (just below the top toolbar) so you can see the invoice/RO# you are typing in. Remember, cursor up to erase the invisible locator.

6)Changed: Labor records in the RO now have a commission field that is calculated automatically, and optionally added to the total labor cost. There is now an hourly cost field where the hourly cost is totaled from the labor times. You can type in a cost in the hourly field if you're not using the labor times either from the button above, or the labor logger. Otherwise, the hourly cost will be overwritten. We had to add the hourly cost so it could be added (optionally in Company Setup) to the commissions.

7)Changed: You can setup a global commission in the company setup. If you have a commission in the technician record, it will override the global commission. Having commissions in the labor items will help with the profit reports.

8)Fixed: the labor logger now reports the exact same times as going into the labor time records from the RO. It also only shows the hourly costs instead of the total costs in the Labor Logger. It will update the hourly costs and total costs in the labor item when 'clocking out' of a labor item.

9)Added: Commissions from the labor item into the single Profit report. The other profit reports calculate the commissions only, at this time.

10) Fixed: If you were using the Drop Down Status on the main RO screen, it would disappear and make you reselect the status.

11) Added: You can now use the IconPick button on the history screen, then right click on the Get RO's button to see and maybe edit the invoice that history item was a part of.

12) Changed: a bunch of help topics in the help files.
