Version 5.1.xx - July 10, 2017
As usual, in the middle of the year we change major version numbers.
For 5.1 Second half of (2017) we made:
•Additions: 25
•Changes and Tweaks: 13
•Fixes: 9
Version 5.1.00 - July 10, 2017
•Added: Button on Inventory browse to receive parts quantities quickly. There is also a keyboard shortcut, F5, so you can find your item, press F5, type in the number of parts, press enter. The number of parts defaults to 1. This way you can receive parts quickly without using the mouse. You should only use this if you are NOT using purchase order at all, otherwise use PO to receive parts. You can also type in the cost. If there is a markup in your inventory item, your retail will automatically change to reflect your cost. If there is no markup, you can type in whatever retail you like.
•Added: In Email Setup, option for first time users to select Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail/Live to auto select certain parameters.
•Added: Security in Point of Sale Screen for adjusting Retail Price.
•Added: Security in Point of Sale Screen for adjusting Discount price or percentage.
•Changed: You can now type in the discount in the Point of Sale screen and it will calculate. You can also just use the arrow up in the discount% field.
•Added: Total Discount to Point of Sale. Press F2 or click on Discount button. You can cursor up or down to increment or decrement the discount% by 5% at a time. Click on OK or press enter to apply the discount to all line items on the Point of Sale Screen.
•Changed: Quantities in Inventory and the parts in RO's now handle 2 decimal places.
•Fixed: SendTo in RO Parts History browse had the old totals (which doubled the new totals). Took out the old Totals as SendTo has been improved.
•Fixed: SendTo in Cash History Browse.
•Changed: Browses and Invoice 16 that only showed one decimal point in the browse or the invoice. (There may be some reports and/or browses we missed, let us know!)
•Added: SendTo in Customer List. This way you can export the customer browse or print it.
•Fixed: Video links to YouTube Video's in the help files should now work... on most computers, we think.
•Added: There is now a warning in the backup program if you are trying to backup the data to the same drive that the data resides on.. it will still let you, but it warns you.
•Changed: On the main RO screen under the One Customer History Tab, there is a bigger button at the top to select the customer with.. and it says: ' Select Customer Here! '. Many people were not aware of that button so this should make it easier to find.

Version 5.1.01 - August 28, 2017
•Added: Logo in Company setup now prints on Statement Report located in $ screen.
•Changed: Statement Report in $ screen now prints in invoice# order.
•Changed: Completed RO's now allow you to scroll the invoice memo without being able to change it.
•Changed: When editing a unit/vehicle from the RO screen, the program will now copy the unit/vehicle information into the RO again, overwriting the previous unit/vehicle information that was copied into the RO when you first select a unit/vehicle using the unit/vehicle select button.
•Added: For first time users of the Interest rate compiler that accidentally runs the compiler more than once in a month, you can right click on the compile button and zero out all interest rates.
•Added: Point of Sale screen now shows 'Last Change' after the transaction is completed.
•Fixed: Customer Last date gets filled in when an RO is completed.
•Fixed: Customer first date gets filled in with today's date when the customer record is first created.
•Added: Inventory Utility can now change the labor rates and wholesale labor rates for the Labor List, or just one category in the list, and can exlude Flat Rate Labor items.
•Added: In company setup, you can now choose to get the labor rate(s) from setup rather than from the Labor List. This works well only if all of your labor rates are the same and you want to change them without going into each and every labor item in the Labor List.
•
Version 5.1.02 - August 31, 2017
•Fixed: PO total cost was not calculating correctly.
•Fixed: If you are manually completing the order item from within the order item, it now reduces the quantity on order to zero. We recommend however that you highlight the PO then use the Receive All Button.
Version 5.1.03 - October 15, 2017
•Fixed: In the labor list, if you click on the Flat Rate, the program will not calculate the rate multiplied by the hours, it will just put the rate in the Retail, which will get brought in when selected for an RO.
•Changed: When changing an RO to Active again, if you choose to NOT refund the money to the customer (2nd question), then the amount will be added to the Paid on Account in the cash file, which causes the cash record to be correct.
•Added: Customer ID# to the end of the Name on Invoice#16.
•Changed: Menu Item at bottom of Report Menu is now More Reports.. instead of Report Manager.
•Added: Option in Date Selector to select a month from the last year.
•Added: For future use, a setting for the company logo for each computer.
•Changed: Sending of a text message through the carriers email should work for different formats of phone numbers.
•Added: Lookups to the Parts inventory reports in the Report Manager, including Location, Vendor, and Category lookups. This allows you to filter parts by one or more of those fields (Location, Vendor, Category)
•Added: Capability of Emailing the list of pictures in a Repair Order. In the upper right corner of the Email screen when you're emailing an invoice, you can check the box to email the pictures as attachments, and of course it will attach the PDF as well.

Version 5.1.04 - November 6, 2017
•Added: Total Discounting percentages for Parts, Labor, and Other. To add a discount, click on the Prompts: Total Parts, Total Labor, Total Other. Or, click on SubTotal to apply one discount to all three. You can only add percentages. This way if you add more parts, labor, or other, the totals will reflect the percentage. If you hover over the above prompts with your mouse cursor, it will show you the percentages, the original amount, and the amount discounted. Because we are discounting the subtotals, taxes are automatically recalculated so you're not paying taxes on the discounts. The old discount amount is still on the screen, however we suggest you not use it if possible as we hope to eliminate that field in the future.
•Fixed: The code that got the update dates for subscription users was broken... all good now. If you can't get your subscription update code, go to Setup, Set Customer Number, Press F2 on your keyboard, click the check to save it. Then go ahead and try and get your update code.
Version 5.1.05 - November 13, 2017
•Added: Vendor Invoice number to the Purchase Order.
•Added: Key to the Vendor Invoice number so you can lookup a PO by the vendors Invoice#.
•Added: Vendor Invoice#, PO# in the Repair Order Item, so if you previously added the PO Item from the RO, you will be able to see the assigned PO#, and the vendor invoice# once the PO has been received.
•Added: RO# to the top of the Purchase Order Item, if the PO item was previously placed into the PO from the RO.
•Added: When Receiving the entire PO, a screen will display asking for the vendors invoice number for that order.
•Added: A way to pick up the subscription code from a different online location. To use the new location, go into Setup/ Set Customer Number. Press F3 for the new location. Nothing will evidently happen. Click on the CheckMark to save. Then go ahead and get your online code.
Version 5.1.06 - December 1, 2017
•Changed: Invoice 16. Added Part code (N|U|R|O) for New/Used/Rebuilt/OEM to the left of the part description. Changed the Email to have Parens around it to make it look a little better. Fixed the Revisions to show the correct phone and method of contact.
Version 5.1.07 - December 7, 2017
