WARNING: This update may cause your Work order browse screen to display incorrectly. This is because we added a field to one of the browse layouts. If this happens, right click on the screen, go to List Formats, Format Setup, Delete All. That deletes the Browse List Formats for the Work orders. This may not fix it all...

 

 

 

 

If this doesn't fix it... shut off programs on all computers but one (the main server one), and go to the Run Menu, click on Fixdata. Inside of Fixdata click on Programmer use, Delete Browse Formats.

 

Why:

 

Unfortunately we're not able to solve this problem yet, but an explanation is in order. In the browse screens we want to allow multiple layouts so you can choose what fields to see, and in what order. This is especially important if you are using the SendTo Button to send what you see to a report or a spreadsheet file.

 

There is an underlying database that stores the browse layouts. When we add a field to the browse, the underlying database doesn't know what to do with that extra field so it sometimes gets corrupted and what you will see is maybe one field or nothing on the screen. When we delete the database, it fixes everything because the database automatically rebuilds from scratch, but you will have to start over where you have differing file layouts or browse layouts.
