Version 5.5.xx May 2019
Version 5.5 is an update to our programming language.
You will need to download the complete install, available from the File menu.

Version 5.5.00 - May 5, 2019
Version 5.5x uses the new version of our programming language. Because everything is new, it is required to download the new complete install first. After that, you will be able to update your software in the usual way.
•Fixed: Regression. On report manager invoices, in the print preview, when clicking on the print icon it used to allow you to select a different printer or modify the settings of the current printer, before printing. This has been restored.

•Changed: You can now view the RO in the Browse All RO's table. This table was created for reports and graphs, so you can only view the RO.
•Fixed: When adding multiple inventory items, and the program asks you if you want to add another, the 'Code' for New or Used, didn't automatically select an 'N'.
•Changed: When searching for a part number using a barcode reader or copy and paste (then enter), you can use the 'partnum Scan' Tab in the inventory table. However, if you type in the wrong part number, the program will now display "Not Found" instead of bringing up the inventory editing form.
•Changed: When searching for a UPC number using a barcode reader or copy and paste (then enter), you can use the UPC Tab in the inventory table. However, if you type in the wrong UPC number, the program will now display "Not Found" instead of bringing up the inventory editing form.
•Changed: When editing a line item in the Point of Sale, when done, it will return you to the entry field for part number allowing you to immediately add a new part number.
•Fixed: The "Last Change" now works in the Point of Sale screen so you can see the last change for the customer.
•Added: Last Tendered is now shown on the Point of Sale Screen.
•Fixed: If you select Cancel when the Point of Sale asks if you want to put the overpay on account or to change, cancel didn't work... now, it works.
•Changed: Set Default in Point of Sale if you overpay to 'Change'. This way you can just press enter again.
•Changed: Added Extended cost to Invoice Parts when completing the transaction in the Point of Sale.
•Added: Capability to print all invoices showing on the "Browse All RO's" Screen.
•Changed: You can now set the Part Notification to notify when you have less than the minimum quantity instead of less than zero when adding a part to a repair order. This is in Company Setup under Other Settings.
•Added: Another PO Report on the PO screen. This shows items received and the date received. There is also a checkbox to show if the item is backordered.
•Added: You can now sort the items in a PO by Description, Part Number, or Vendor. Just click on those headings in the PO Item list.
•Added: If you are creating a New PO by dragging an Order Item to the Add PO Button, the program will now ask if you want to add all Vendors in 'Zero PO' to that PO.
•Added: Query to the inventory/Parts List browse table. With this capability and the SendTo Button, you will be able to make reports on inventory for a variety of uses. This will also let you search by any field in the inventory, including the memo. You will have to build a query for that to work.

Version 5.5.03 - July 29, 2019
•Changed: Special Tax (in a part under the repair order) has been changed to be a percentage. Just type in the percentage and the program will multiply the tax by .01 and by the quantity to give the total special tax. The special tax is then added to the total of Tax1.
•Added: For network users we added a way to send messages or shut down other users on the network. This will make it convenient for updating your software.
Version 5.5.04 - August 5, 2019
•Fixed: Last Payment Date wasn't getting applied if you used Deposit on the Main RO Screen.
•Added: Tax Table Identifier to the RO. This will allow us to create a report by Tax Table if you are using alternate tax tables for different areas or zip codes.
•Added: VIN (or whatever you name it) to the $ RO Browse.
•Added: Machine# to the Vehicle Lookup browse.
•Added: Remote sharing links to help file, under Introduction / Remote Support.
•Added: Ability to change the default invoice to selected invoice in Report Manager
•Changed: When Transferring a completed RO back to Active, the Date Completed is blank.
•Changed: Default Parts Lookup from RO screen to Description.
•Added: the inventory import has an 'Update Only' checkmark. Using this, new inventory will not be added, only old inventory will be updated.
•Added: Purchase Order screen now has an 'Alternate' PO report you can print. This report is located in the Report Manager under Purchase Order Report. The first example PO is names PO_1.rpt. You can duplicate this and make PO_2.rpt, etc. This way you can have multiple PO printouts for your purchase order, and you can customize (or have us do it) to the Purchase order printout you need.
•Added: At the top of the PO Browse there is a blue link that will take you to the PDF folder where your PDF's are located (assuming you set this path up in the company seutp under 'Each Computer', 'Folder to save PDF's'. Once you've printed a PO report to a PDF, then the link will change so you can simply click on it to display (using your default PDF viewer) the last PO PDF printed.

Version 5.5.05 - September 9, 2019
•Fixed: In the $ screen, printing alternate invoices did not work correctly, and the invoice# was not saved. This now works.
•Added: In the PO screen, the Alternate PO uses a new Previewer to preview the report.

Version 5.5.06 - October 12, 2019
•Added: Ability to Print components in the report manager invoices. This helps if you have more than one motor, or a trailer, etc. See Report Manager Invoice# 116 as an example.
•Added: Vehicle/Unit Type to the Master vehicle/unit records.
•Fixed: When getting Expiration Update Code, it now updates variables right away. (This is a programmer thing... but I had to make a note somewhere!)
•Added: Labor Logger Monitor. You can now monitor what labor items technicians are logged into. This is built into the Labor Logger.
•Added: You can now print the Pictures in the Report manager Invoices. VMTInvoice116.rpt is the sample invoice to use.
•Fixed: Statements printable from the Cash files menu and from the $ screen. They now show the correct amount under 30/60/90/120 (or whatever days you have set). And the messages are correct.

•Added: Ability to Print the default invoice printout for one RO that you highlight. This is under the Work Orders Menu / Browse All RO's.
•Fixed: Number in the top of Browse All RO's and the $ screen that allows you to print all RO's on the current screen, gets its Invoice# from the company setup / Printer / Print All#. This must be setup on each computer. If this is zero, the normal invoice should print.
•Added: Link to the .xml export file so you can open it up once you've exported a reminder list to the .xml file. Usually the filename is the name of the reminder list .xml. This can be imported to a spreadsheet, or even opened with a spreadsheet.
•Added: VIN is now exported when using the export button in the reminder list.
•Changed: When looking up inventory, the description only showed 30 characters, now it shows all 40.
•Added: New Super Lookup to lookup an inventory item from the Repair Order. Check the Super Inventory Lookup box in company setup under Each Computer.
•Changed: Vendor Lookup from Inventory now has the Select button on the bottom, so it matches the other lookups.
•Added: You can export a label file (for use in zebra printer and datamax printer software) from the F5 (receive screen) located on the inventory screen. Type in the number of inventory items you are receiving, type in the new price, then click on the barcode label icon to export the file. The file name is always invent.csv. You will use this file in your label printing software when creating your label. You will need the software to be running and your label to be selected.
•Added: Another export from the inventory screen for label printing. This creates the number of labels of your quantity of that inventory item.
•Added: In the purchase order printout if there are more than one item with the same inventory ID#, you can right click on the icon to print the purchase order, and the PO will print, but will combine all of the quantities together so your vendor or pickup person won't have to add them together. It will warn you if you have more than one item with the same inventory ID#, but the costs are different. In that case you should do the normal PO print.
•Fixed: Wholesale prices from inventory now work in the POS. Remember, the Markup in the customer will override Retail and Wholesale, and it will markup from the cost, not the wholesale cost.
