Version 5.3.xx - July 2018
Version 5.3: 22 Additions, 5 Fixes, 12 Changes
Version 5.3.00 - July 17, 2018
•Added: Option to Drive Axle in unit/vehicle: All Wheel
•Added: Locator under a new Tab (Called PartNum Scan) in the Inventory screen to scan or type in the part number. This makes it easy to use a barcode scanner to locate a part.
•Changed: Spell check now checks upper case words.
•Added: You can now select a (report manager) invoice# in the $ screen and print that type of invoice, or print all invoices that show on the screen by clicking on the ALL Button.
• Note: This Prints directly so you don't have to intervene. I found a program called CutePDF Writer, and if you set it to a default printer (usually temporarily), it will 'print' all of the invoices and can append them to one PDF File so you can Email them to your client.
•Changed: Updated SendTo to the latest version. This is the button that sends the data to a printer, spreadsheet, file, or more.
•Added: New Security option for technicians. You can now prevent your technicians from editing an RO that has not been assigned to them by the service writer. First, whoever creates the ticket must have assigned a tech. You must set the security level 'TECHOK' to a level above what the technician has for a user level. So the tech must sign in as a USER which assigns the user level. Then when the tech goes to edit the RO, the program will ask for the 'Tech' signin, then compares the tech to the assigned tech in the RO. If it doesn't match, they cannot edit. Really simple, right?
•Added: Categories to the security levels. This makes it much easier to find areas where you want to change the security levels. However, if you don't have these new categories, you'll need to go to the security levels screen and click on the 'Update from Master' button.
•Added: Most screens that have a security level, you can hover your mouse above the help button to see what the name of the security level is. Some security levels work on multiple screens or reports. We don't have a way to do this with reports however.
•Fixed: All Graphs should now print correctly.

Version 5.3.01 - July 24, 2018
•Fixed: Rounding errors for time in the labor logs when they are updated or added from the Repair Order or Labor Logger.
•Fixed: Labor cost rounding errors when using labor logs from the repair order.
•Added: Ability to change the WIP Status (Lights) for completed repair orders both with or without a balance.
•Added: WIP Status lights to the repair Order browses completed with and without a balance.
•Added: Date Due to the repair order screen. You can click on the 'Date Due' text at the top of the screen which will then let you edit the date due, and if blank automagically fills in todays date. This date could also be used as a 'Finish' date for some that don't want to 'complete' the repair order, but the repair order is finished. That way you can wait to actually complete the RO when the customer comes in, but have a date so you know when the RO was finished.
•Added: You can right click on the Date Due to edit the date using a small calendar.
•Added: Date Due to all RO Browses.
•Added: Days Due after Completed to the Company Setup under Other Settings. When the RO is completed, if Due Date is blank, it will be filled in with Today's date plus the number of days you specifiy in Setup.
6 Additions, 2 Fixes
Version 5.3.02 - August 14, 2018
•Changed: Browse for Serial numbers to use the keyboard for Insert, Change, Delete.
•Changed: The Date format for Other Dates (in the Other Tab) in the customer record now complies with Windows format so it can be used in most countries.
•Changed: Lookup for Manufacturer table now uses incremental lookup, which means the more you type the closer it gets to finding it. Before it would only search for the first letter you typed.
•Changed: Lookup for Location table now uses incremental lookup.
•Added: New way to set a customer or set of customers to override taxes. The OverRide Tax Table was originally setup to use Zip / Postal Codes. So now, you can use the Zip code field in the Tax Override table and type in up to 10 characters, for instance 'Senior' or 'Native'. Then in the customer, go to the Other Tab and Click on the File Lookup button to the right of 'Tax Table' and add then select 'Senior' or 'Native' or whatever to match the tax table. From then on that customer will use the new tax table.
•Added: Special Tax Override for the Point of Sale.

Version 5.3.03 - August 15, 2018
Regression: While adding the new alternate tax table code, the code was only checking for the normal taxes or alternate taxes if there was either a zip code or a Tax Table name setup in the customer. So if there was a zip code, no error in calculating taxes. But if there was no zip code, the program didn't even set the normal taxes. Now it will always set the normal taxes before it checks for a zip code. All good now.
We will have a talk with the coder and make sure he gets 50 lashes!
Version 5.3.04 - September 20, 2018
•Fixed: PO printout didn't print the shipping address correctly.
•Added: Labor can now be added to the components for each unit/vehicle.
•Added: When selecting a unit/vehicle from the master unit/vehicle list, the components along with both labor and parts will be copied automatically. This essentially allows you to have parts and labor for each vehicles components.
•Added: When updating a unit/vehicle back to the master list from the customers vehicle, labor items update as well.
•Added: capability to add labor from the RO to the Components with drag and drop.
•Changed: Printout of components now include labor items.
•Added: Add the recurring Schedule capability back to the scheduler.
•Fixed: The Settings for the daily scheduler times now works correctly.
•Changed: Markup calculator in the RO Item can now go to 999%. You can't go higher that 99.99% if you are using a Margin Markup because the math doesn't work. However if you're using a Percentage Markup, you can go to 999%. It was limited at 200%.
•Added: Fast search for YMM for both customer units/vehicles and master Units/Vehicles. There is a new field that allows for this search to work in the unit/vehicle editing form. You don't need to worry about it as it gets filled in automatically. However, if you already have a lot of vehicles/units, you should use the Fix data program to fill in this field for you. Click on Fixdata, Special Fixes, Update YMM for cars.
•Added: Create YMM from Vehicles button in the vehicle search browse. This simply creates the lookup so you can click on the Year, then Make, then Model buttons to help you find a unit/vehicle.
•Changed: The default tab for the vehicle browse can now be set to the YMM tab so you can search by YMM.

Version 5.3.05 - October 23, 2018
•Added: Spell check to outgoing message when sending Invoice via Email.
•Changed: Revision logs now work as they should. When adding a new revision log, the program uses the last revision selected to get the Previous revision total, then gets the current RO total and figures out the difference. Be sure to save the revision using the Check, then select that revision so it can store it as the last revision, which is to be used for the next revision you might do.
•Changed: Invoice 16, Invoice 22, Job Invoice 1,2, and 3 to print out the revision logs correctly.
•Changed: Help File
